Codes are made in your browser. The link, payment ID, Wi-Fi password or contact details you type, and any logo you add, stay on your device. We never receive them.
The QR scanner reads codes with your camera or from a picture on your device. Nothing from the camera or the picture is uploaded.
To download, you create an account with your name, email, mobile number and a password. We keep a secure hash of the password, never the password itself. Your mobile number is only used for messages about your account and payments; it's never shown to anyone, sold or used for advertising.
For each download we note the format, size and time, so we can apply your plan's limits. With QR Pro we keep your plan's dates and the payments you made.
Card and PayPal payments are handled by PayPal: we receive the order number, amount and result, never your card or PayPal login. For UPI we keep the reference number you send us so we can match the payment.
A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. With your consent where the law asks for it, an analytics cookie counts visits so we can see which pages help; we note the page, the country (worked out on our own server) and the browser type, never what's in your codes. We advertise on Google, so pages may load Google's ad tag to learn which ads bring visitors.
Statistics are deleted after 400 days. Account details and payment records stay until you delete your account; payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
You can change your details or delete your account at any time from your QR account. Questions about your data? Write to us on the contact page.
