Why it's different

How a logo fits in a QR code

QR codes repeat their data with error correction, so part of the pattern can be covered and still read. With a logo, error correction goes up to H, where up to 30% can be hidden, and the dots behind the logo are cleared so it sits on a clean patch instead of over the pattern.

Keep it scannable

Around 20 to 25% of the code's width is a safe logo size. Leave a little space around it, keep strong contrast between the code and its background, and watch the scan check under the preview: it reads every design back like a phone would.

Your logo stays on your device

Upload a PNG (a transparent background looks best) or JPG, or pick one of 18 icons for links, UPI, Wi-Fi, WhatsApp-style chat, location, menu, reviews and more. The logo is placed in your browser and never uploaded.

Brand it completely

Match the dots and corners to your brand, use a gradient, put a white, round or coloured badge behind the logo, and add a frame with your call to action. Save the look as your own style to reuse on every code.

How it works

Three steps, about a minute

  1. 01

Choose what the code should open and fill in the form; the preview updates as you type.

  2. 02

Pick a template, or set the dots, corners, colours, logo and frame yourself. The check under the preview tells you it still scans.

  3. 03

Download PNG, SVG, PDF, JPG or WEBP at any size, or a print sheet. Scan it with your phone before you print.

Questions

Asked a lot

Something else? Write to us; a person answers.

Will a QR code with a logo still scan?

Yes, when the logo covers no more than about a quarter of the code and error correction is H, which is set automatically. The page confirms it scans.

What logo format should I use?

A square-ish PNG with a transparent background. Wide logos work too; they're scaled to fit.

Is there a watermark?

No. The only logo on your code is yours.

Which download is best for print?

SVG or PDF: they stay sharp at any size. Use PNG at 2048 px or more for documents.
